Incoming Solar Storm Update

This is the e-mail I recieved. The only thing I changed was the persons gender:

I just got a call from my friend and he/she said there was a bad erription today on the Sun. I am not in Houston so don't have the net. He/She said nobody seems paniced but they are putting some of the birds on auto which means the will automatically revert to onboard preprogrammed shutdown if certain environment parameters are exceeded. I never saw this done while I was there. It is 3rd level contingency and there are 2 plan levels above that.

If I hear more I'll try to let you know. No word about arrival time but if they went to auto that would mean within 24-48 hrs by the book from what I remember.
